The Law Offices of Barry G. Doyle, P.C. is excited to announce our annual Scholarship Essay Contest. Students who will be attending a college or university in 2020 as an undergraduate or law student in the United States are eligible to apply.
One (1) scholarship of $1,000 will be awarded August 15 each year.
Who Can Apply:
Any current high school senior, undergraduate, or law student who will be attending an accredited college, university or law school for the 2019-2020 academic year in the United States is eligible for the Law Offices of Barry G. Doyle, P.C. Scholarship. To receive the award, you must be prepared to show proof of enrollment in an accredited college or university.
Essay Topic And How To Apply:
If you could pick any current newsmaker to have dinner with, who would you select and what you tell him or her with regard to any pressing issue of the day. Essay should be submitted in PDF format to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line “Scholarship”. Submissions without the required subject line will not be considered.
To be considered for the August 15 award, your materials for the scholarship must be submitted by August 1, 2019 9 AM CST. In the body of the email, you must include the school you are planning to attend/attending, residential address, and contact phone number. If you are under 18, contact information for a parent/guardian.
Purpose of Scholarship:
The legal team at Law Offices of Barry G. Doyle, P.C. knows firsthand how beneficial an education is and how it can transform lives. But with the rising costs of education, more and more students find themselves struggling to make ends meet. Our desire is to help deserving applicants succeed in the classroom by taking some of the financial burden off their shoulders, allowing them to thrive in their chosen fields.
Applicants can be pursuing any type of degree or career path that will enable them to succeed in the future through any accredited college or university in the nation. Simply put, we feel that all types of education are important and we want our scholarship to benefit the overall education of a student without restrictions.
By applying for the Law Offices of Barry G. Doyle, P.C. Scholarship Essay, you agree to the use of your name, likeness, and essay on our website, in our newsletter, and on other social media channels if you are chosen as one of our winners and agree to receive additional information and communications from the law firm.
Only one winner will be selected. In the event that a winner fails to respond to notification on or before August 25, 2019, the winner’s prize will be forfeited and a new winner will be selected.
The one thousand dollar ($1,000.00) check will be issued in the name of an accredited college or university of a winner’s choice and can be used towards any fees and/or expenses associated with the winner’s education.
